Sally Montes and Sandra Peña will be speakers at the HFMA’s PR Chapter Medicare Update

San Juan, Puerto Rico — August 7, 2009 — Sally Montes Colon, MPH, RHIA, CHP and Sandra V. Peña Perez, PT, MHSA will be presenting two conferences at the HFMA’s, Puerto Rico chapter, Medicare Update on Friday, August 14, 2009 at the El San Juan Hotel & Casino, Isla Verde, PR.

On May 6, 2009, as part of the activities scheduled for the HFMA’s PR Chapter Annual Convention, Sally Motes presented the conference ICD-10 and Changes to Medicare Regulations. The conference offered the members a financial perspective of the ICD-10 CM/ICD-10 PCS implementation and other forthcoming changes that will impact the healthcare industry during the next years.

This educational event was so successful that the chapter’s board of directors decided to include it in their annual Medicare Update to be held on Friday, August 14, 2009 at the El San Juan Hotel & Casino, Isla Verde, PR.
