H.I.M. ON CALL is Awarded Retrospective Data Quality Reviews Contract from Hospital Buen Samaritano
Hato Rey, Puerto Rico — January 12, 2009 — Hospital Buen Samaritano, located in Aguadilla, Puerto Rico, awards a three year contract to H.I.M. ON CALL, Inc. to provide offsite Retrospective Data Quality Review Services of Hospital Buen Samaritano’s inpatient medical records. The contract shall encompass monthly comprehensive coding reviews to determine the accuracy, quality and validity of the originally assigned ICD-9 diagnosis and procedure codes as well as assessing the appropriate DRG assignment.
Hospital Buen Samaritano is among several hospitals in Puerto Rico that entrusts H.I.M. ON CALL with their coding data quality initiatives.

Allentown, Pennsylvania — January 7, 2009 — Lenox Hill Hospital, located in New York, New York, awards a three year contract to H.I.M. ON CALL, Inc. to provide Cancer Registry Abstracting Services for its oncology services and health information management department.
The contract calls for H.I.M. ON CALL to provide a team of professional Certified Tumor Registrars (CRTs) to perform cancer registry abstracting of newly diagnosed cancer patients medical records and follow-up abstracting of previously diagnosed patients. This service shall be conducted onsite at Lenox Hill Hospital.
